CREATION FEST

During the summer, Adam and I took five young lads away to Devon for a long weekend of skating and music at Creation Fest. The festival itself didn't live up to its expectations... but that didn't stop us having a great time. The lads enjoyed tearing up the ramps at the festival site and also at the different skate parks in the area as we toured our way around north Devon. We had loads of great conversations throughout the weekend, with the lads asking us loads of inspiring questions. We even managed to challenge them on the way they spoke to each other, by using the word "courgette" every time they wanted to curse at someone! Overall the weekend was a massive hit, and everyone had a good time. Please pray that it wont have been just one weekend for the five lads, but that it will have a lasting memory and will have challenged them about what they believe in.

SOUL SURVIVOR

After months of organising, we took thirteen boys and girls to Soul Survivor. It was an a very soggy but amazing week. On the first evening we came back to find our tents floating away on a few inches of water! That didn't dampen our spirits though, and all the guys thoroughly enjoyed it. They all seemed to encounter God in new and exciting ways, and it was amazing to see them all grow in their faith. Just to see them all praying for each other was a real inspiration and encouragement to me. Please pray that they all continue their own personal journey with God and seek him in everything they do.
