Hi, I'm Abigail, 24 and from Inverness, Scotland. For the next year I am working as a voluntary youth worker with Ashby Youth for Christ. I will be assisting in various projects, which are set-up to help reach out to the young people of Ashby and it's surrounding area. Stepping out my comfort zone, which is working in an administrative based job back home!
Hello, I am from a place far far away from a little town called Ashby-De-La-Zouch, so some of you may know me already because I live here! That's right, I'm Jakob! My goals are very simple for this year
Micah 6:8 "Do Justice, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly with God" and the young people this year.
Hey! I'm Emma, I'm from Lancaster and I'm doing a 'yfcone' ETA (evangelism training year) with AYFC for the year, and based in Holy Trinity Church. My goals for the year are to try and make a small difference in Ashby, whatever that may be and see the side of youth which isn't seen in the media and show that through the work of 'yfcone'.
In the office we have a portable overhead projector, a video player and a dvd player, none of which we use any more. If anyone is interested in any of these items they are available for a donation made payable to AYFC. Please contact me at the office on 01530 560940 or at office@ayfc.co.uk.
